Home v Half Moon 25 Jan

Once again it was all close games most going to the black ball and that is what we now expect from this competition. All good players and a little bit of luck can swing the game one way or the other. Unfortunately for us we ended up down 5/1 after the singles with Joy being the only winner of the singles games. Not much better in the doubles with only one win there also. So a poor result against one of the top teams at home. Better luck next week away at Heavens beach.

Away v Enjoy Bar 18 Jan

Well it was nice to return from Australia and witness a win. All played well and the game was won in the singles with the first five players up winning. With only one loss in the singles and one loss in the doubles the final result was 7/2. I was still suffering jet-lag and unable to play this week but I am looking forward to getting back into it next week. Well done team.

Home v December Bar 11 Jan

Finally back on the road to success, just a slight hic cup along the way with a few losses in a row. But now we are in the final straight and its time to bring this baby home, lets go team. Close in the singles (3/3) with our boys failing to nail the black but hey, praise is due as for the second week in a row we won all the doubles giving us a 6/3 win. Well done team and keep it up.

Away v C&Bangers 4 Jan

"Bugger!" ...... Yep, another loss, but with four singles games going to the black ball and winning all the doubles matches, you have to consider that the match was close. Perhaps just a loss of concentration on our part. Better luck next week team.
